High-end digital televisions in the forefront of the display industry require the highest resolutions to deliver life-like images for a truly immersive viewing experience. Integrating robust and high bandwidth video connectivity with real-time video processing enables 4K2K and emerging 8K4K display technologies. Traditional televisions are limited to Full HD resolution since there are no ASICs or ASSPs that can support the video processing required at 4K2K and 8K4K.
